PS. I'm sure you were expecting Disney World posts, but that's just too overwhelming right now... maybe in November.

Go for it... if you really want to...
That's what the Fox Hollow Employee said as I walked into the golf shop. With small patches of snow still on the ground and bitter wind that smacked you in the face without the courtesy of even yelling FORE, it's no wonder we were the ONLY people on the golf course. We made it through four holes and if we had tried to do another, I would be standing before you with all ten toes. It was SO cold. We just kept laughing at ourselves for even being there. I couldn't have felt better about that round of golf being free. We quickly located the closest hot chocolate and warmed up in a small cafe... well, almost warmed up. I don't think I could claim that I was actually warm until my hot bath that night, but the hot chocolate helped.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I can't take credit for this scrumptious little masterpiece. I let Sister Calendar do all the work. Who has time to bake pies? Still, I thought a peach and apple pie were just the right thing to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. After all, what's more Canadian than apple pie? Amy and I invited several people over to partake of some Thanksgiving pie, but before they could eat, they had to answer some Canadian trivia. Actually, no one got any of them right, but we let them eat pie anyway. Let's see how you do...
What is the capitol of Canada?
How many provinces are in Canada?
How many territories are in Canada?
What line comes after "our home and native land" in the national anthem?
What is the Canadian National Sport?
What is the name of the one dollar coin?
Canada has how many time zones?
Name the first Prime Minister of Canada?
What year was the most recent territory in Canada formed?
What animal is on the Canadian quarter?
(answers are in the comments section)
I would expect you Canadians to get 100%! Actually, I got one of the these questions wrong. My friends, of course, made a lot of Canadian jokes and I made them watch a few I AM CANADIAN commercials. The whole event would have been much better as a Canada Day party, but Americans are usually a little too preoccupied with celebrating their own country around July 1st.

Photo of the Week?
I don't know if this will last, but I'm trying to motivate myself to work on my photography, so I'm making myself accountable to you. I'm going to try and do a photo of the week (POW) for a while. Here's the first one. I call it "fence".
I grabbed Jamie and Amy and we went up the canyon to shoot the changing leaves. It was cold, but gorgeous. Eventually, it developed into a roomies photo shoot. Jamie isn't technically our roommate, but close enough. I know we look like a bunch of dorks, but we had SO much fun. In fact, we're planning on doing it again sometime when we actually put effort into our appearance instead of rolling out of bed and pulling on a toque.
