Turns out there are some pretty big Laker haters in Utah. Chris and I would just clap quietly each time the Lakers added to their 20+ point lead. I think my favorite "fan" moment happened before the game started. In the bustle of people finding their portals, a Lakers fan's drink was bumped and splattered all over the ground. He looked back in disgust and said, "Jazz Fans" and shook his head like Jazz fans are always knocking people's drinks out of their hands. Really? I love a good rivalry, but some people take this way too seriously.

Jazz fans
Chris and I went to the Jazz/Lakers Game 4 playoffs game on Monday night. As you can see, we had stellar seats. We didn't have to worry about the people behind us not being able to see because, well, there was no one behind us. We periodically moved closer and closer and really even though we could barely make out the Jumbotron, it was just really fun to be there in the arena. Chris has always been a Lakers fan and since I have no allegiance, I may as well be too, right?
I just love this stuff...
Let's add longboarding to my list of favorite summer activities. Chris got me a longboard for my birthday and we finally found a nice Saturday to really give it a try. We did the Provo River Trail which is just perfect for a beginner like me. I am proud to say that I didn't even fall once. After longboarding, we golfed nine. I'm so excited for summer! ...like REALLY summer. Not this summer one day, winter the next business.

California Sunshine
We picked the BEST weekend to leave for sunny California. It was blizzarding off and on in Utah on the day I flew out, but Cali was wonderful. I was only there for two days, but we packed it in:Magic Mountain with no lines. Seriously, we almost walked on to every ride. Consequently, we were done with the park in a few hours because we'd ridden everything we wanted to ride and some multiple times.
- Hurley warehouse sale - I got some sweet deals.
- Rainbow Outlet - I bought some flip flops. Apparently it's a very Southern California thing to do.
- Day at the beach - BEAUTIFUL weather.
- Hot tubbing
- Ping Pong
- Sumo wrestling at Dave's Birthday party

ZION Birthday
It's really all I wanted for my birthday. A camping trip. I get so antsy this time of year to get out into the great outdoors. I almost didn't tell everyone the forecast included lows of 33 degrees because I didn't want anyone to back out, but thankfully everyone was still on board and it couldn't have gotten below 40. The weather was great. Brisk jacket weather while we were hiking (wish I had brought a jacket) but wonderful in the sun.
We hiked hidden canyon, a non-technical canyon with some fun scrambling. Eventually, we reached the hard packed snow that rarely saw the sun. We hiked on this for a ways which mad coming back SO fun. We just skied on our shoes all the way down.
