Sometimes I get focused on events to blog and I forget I always have a file of random, everyday photos for each month, so it's time to post some of those.
We thought we got off fairly easy with winter this year until the end of February and beginning of march.  I was cold.  Too cold to go outside, in fact.  In March we got our first snowfall that was warm enough for Jane to go out and play in.  She loved it, but snow angels were out of the question.  She tried one once and the falling snow landed on her face, and then she tried to wipe it away with her snowy mitten, which of course meant lots of tears and no more snow angels.

March also gave us some long awaited beautiful weather and we jumped at the opportunity to go on a picnic, enjoys so walks and even a great little hike through Sodalis (or local nature park escape).

We have a Ford Ranger and playing in the bed of the truck is a favorite for these two kiddos.  You've got to watch that little boy though, or he'll try and climb right out.
