BOY or GIRL?

I've been meaning to do a pregnancy update for a while now, but there just hasn't been much to say.  I feel great.  I hardly got sick at all in my first trimester.  I struggled with smells, particularly of food, for a couple weeks and preferred more bland foods to anything spicy, but overall, I felt pretty good.  I've gone to bed uncharacteristically early a handful of times throughout the entire 5 months so far.  I had one irrational, emotional breakdown when Chris teased me repeatedly with chocolate ice cream.  (Seriously, nothing could have been more important to me in that moment than that bite of chocolate ice cream and he just wouldn't give it to me.)  I've just basically felt good, though.  Now, other than the obvious bump in front of me and my shrinking bladder, I haven't noticed any other symptoms.

I just passed my 20 week mark last week and tomorrow, Chris and I will go get the ultrasound that will tell us the gender of our little parasite.

My sister sent me this.  Adorable huh?  It represents the guesses of each member of the Johnson family.  Clearly, they are leaning toward a boy.

FHE tonight was dedicated to testing the Old Wives Tales and other methods of determining the gender of an unborn child.  Chris and I looked up as many as we could find and then filled out this chart.  Here are the results:

Of the 18 tests, 8 indicated a boy, 5 indicated a girl, and 5 were left undetermined.  I guess tomorrow, we'll find out which of these tests are actually valid... using our sample size of one.  Can't wait to find out!
