American Gladiator

It's the best ward bonding activity ever. Every Monday night at 9:00 we cram about 50 people into a tiny apartment and cheer for manly women and men in spandex. We howl when Wolf comes on screen and chant for Hellga. This week we decided to divide into colors and cheer on our teams. We even had red rice crispy squares and blue popcorn. The party actually starts around 8:30 as people come early to get seats and then the energy just builds as the room fills up. I had a hard time narrowing it down to seven photos. We took a lot of great pictures.
The Red Team (Including, Bone-Crusher, Acid Rain (that's me), and Katrina (as in Hurricane)
The Blue Team (Including Ray-zor, Thrasher, Blood, and Chainsaw)

Snowmobiling

#21 on my list of things to do before I die: SnowmobilingApparently Scott says that between Wave Runners, 4 wheelers and Snowmobiles, he would choose Snowmobiles first. I disagree. It's not that I didn't have a fantastic day, because I did. It was so fun, but Scott's extra 50 pounds must be enough to allow him to actually control the sled. I, however, when leaning with all my weight to the right, was still somehow turning left. It must have been the 2-3 feet of powder. We had a great time, though. I would go again in a heart beat.... but my list still goes Wave Runners, 4 wheelers and THEN Snowmobiles. Who's with me?

Ride Utah

We had an amazing day of snowboarding yesterday. When Trevor and I got off the shuttle at Brighton Ski resort, the horizontal snow was so thick we couldn't see 10 feet in front of us. That soon subsided though, and we were left with 17 inches of fresh powder. Admittedly, I'm not very good in powder, and by the end of the day my legs were jelly from the extra effort. It was so much fun though.

Green Wonderland

After a week of watching Planet Earth, shopping, eating candy and playing wii, we finally decided to go out and get some fresh air. There was snow all over the Lower Main Land so we decided to make it a sledding trip. We gathered up enough snow clothes to cover the five of us and headed up to the mountains to make a whole picnic adventure of it. When we got up to Golden Ears Provincial Park, we were shocked by the beautiful, lush GREEN forest. Where was the white? We decided to take a walk anyway and enjoy BC. It wasn't the snow adventure we had anticipated, but it was a gorgeous walk.

Christmas

Mike's Christmas blog post was remarkable similar to what I intended to post. So for more detailed coverage of the Walton Christmas, check out Mike's Journal Blog. I tried to add some different photos though.

Super Excited Line Up!

Caught in the Headlights

Good thing we have these books now, I always forget how many charcoal buzzards are left after one has flown A-way.

Mom and I single-handedly finished a 1500 piece puzzle in two days.
