Hawaii - Day VI

On our last day in Hawaii, we parted ways with the Reids fairly early.  They had a plane to catch in the morning, but we were taking the red-eye out that night.  We had such a fun vacation with them, it was sad to have it over so soon.
After checking out of our beach house, we went to see the Bonzai Pipeline.  The waves weren't huge like they get in the winter, but they were still so beautiful.  It was an incredible beach, I could have stayed there all morning just watching the waves.

We finally stopped at a fruit stand and picked up some fresh fruit and a fried banana (I can't remember what they're called) and then took a peek at Sunset beach before stopping for some more Kua Aina burgers.

After letting Jane chase pigeons in the park for a bit, we headed down to Kailua (Colette's part of the island, and stopped at a couple look out points before meeting up with her for dinner one last time.

Jane loves to run.  See Jane run.

After Jane's rough flight out, we were a little worried about our red-eye back.  It would either be the best idea or the worst idea to fly through the night.  It turned out to be great.  The lady sitting next to Chris gave up her seat, so Jane could lie down there and she had no trouble at all falling asleep.  In fact, before the flight took off, Jane grabbed the pillow they give you and laid down in the middle of the aisle with her blanket on top.  She was ready.  Peter slept on my chest from before the we boarded the plane until after we got off.  It couldn't have gone smoother.
